Umami, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity do not load until you choose Allow. Umami and Google Analytics count pages and clicks. Clarity records the session, including where you move and click. Text typed in the contact form and the chat is hidden in those recordings.Declining, or turning analytics off later, stops new recording in this browser. The light or dark theme is saved on this device only, and that does not depend on this choice.Campaign counts
If a link to this site includes a campaign label, such as ref or utm_source, the server adds one to a total for that label. The stored total is the number of visits. It does not include an IP address, a cookie, or anything that identifies who visited. This count is kept even when analytics are declined. Umami, Google Analytics, and Clarity still wait for Allow.Contact form
If you send a message, your name, email, and message are saved in MongoDB so I can reply. After 12 months, that record is deleted the next time someone sends a message or the admin pages are opened. If the site is quiet, it can stay a little longer. Your IP address is used only in memory to limit spam. It is not stored with the message. If the link that opened the site had a campaign label, such as ref or utm_source, that label is saved with the message. It is not sent to analytics unless you allow them.Chat
Messages you send in the chat, and the assistant’s replies, are saved in MongoDB and sent to Groq so the assistant can answer. After 12 months, those messages are deleted the next time someone sends a message or the admin pages are opened. If the site is quiet, they can stay a little longer. The IP address is not stored with the conversation. The same campaign label from the link, if there was one, is saved with the conversation. A page reload starts a new chat on your screen.Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may keep its own request log, including an IP address and the page address. That log is not copied into the message database.Ask for deletion
